South Side High School Playoff Updates

Good Afternoon Rockville Centre Parents, Families, & Spectators,

The Cyclones had a HUGE weekend!  Congratulations go out to the following teams:

• Girls Varsity Cross Country:  They're headed to the NYS Cross Country Championship for the 4th consecutive year in a thrilling upset victory by just 1 point! They'll represent Section VIII on Saturday, November 16th at Queensbury High School. The girls' race starts at 1:00 PM. 
• Girls Varsity Volleyball: They defeated Wantagh in the Nassau County Championships in 3 sets!  Next up, they play Sayville in the Class A Long Island Championship on Wednesday, November 13th at Hauppauge High School. Game time is 4 PM. 
• Varsity Football: In an upset, they defeated Elmont in the Conference 3 Quarterfinal round 31-13.  They'll play Garden City in the Big Four semifinals on Saturday, November 16th at 1:30 PM at Hofstra University.
