The Rockville Centre School District provides quality training services for security personnel throughout Nassau County and surrounding areas. 

We are certified by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services to provide security programs under the provisions of the Security Guard Act of 1992. 

Under the new S.A.V.E. legislation (Chapter 181 of the Laws of 2000), all new school district employees, hired after July 1, 2001, must undergo fingerprinting and clearance for employment or certification. 

The Rockville Centre School District Training Division offers the following services: 

• Fingerprinting is required by legislation - Security Guard Act of 1992 and S.A.V.E. Please contact Identogo at 877-472-6915 or go to the Identogo website to schedule an appointment.

• The pre-assignment course is conducted in one full day. At the end of the day, an exam is administered, certificates are awarded, and all State forms are processed. 
• The pre-assignment course is usually conducted at our school facilities. However, for groups, and at the request of the client, arrangements can be made to conduct the course at the client's facilities. 
• The day and date of the course is usually given on a Saturday, however, if this does not suit your needs, arrangements can be made to accommodate you. 

• This on-the-job training course is split into two eight hour blocks and given over a two day period. At the end of the second day, an exam is administered and certificates awarded. 
   

• This course is conducted in one full day and a certificate is awarded. This course provides updates on any new laws, methods, procedures, which are applicable to your specific work environment.
