Do I have to sign anything to get the iPad?

Yes both a parent or guardian and the student must sign the iPad user agreement linked here

What comes with the iPad?

You will receive an iPad in a sturdy case and a charger.

The District has an extensive list of blacklisted apps, which will be removed from any and all student iPads. The list includes mature content apps, apps that promote violence and social media apps. The full list is available upon request. 


Are families responsible if the iPad is damaged lost or stolen?

Yes families are responsible for all costs in regards to their use of the device.  We highly recommend the purchase of iPad insurance. Linked  here are companies that you can use.


What if my child forgets his iPad at home one day?

Parents or guardians may bring the iPad up to school or the school will supply a replacement iPad for the day. The replacement iPad can be picked up and signed for in the library.  Students must sign back in the iPad at the end of the school day.


Should my child have an expectation of privacy while using the district iPad?

Similar to a school issued locker or any use of the school computer network, children and families should be aware the the District has the right to collect and inspect the iPads at any time.
